Oriflame tender care protecting balm with beeswax- Ingredients
Oriflame protecting balm

Claims : The box says nothing about the product, so I have taken the claims from Oriflame site ‘A totally versatile pot of magic containing bees wax and vegetable oils. Use on sides of eyes, lips, face, cuticles or any area which is dry, sore or roughened to instantly restore softness’

Pros and Cons of Oriflame Tender Care protecting balm based on my experience

Pros
– Pretty packaging, travel friendly
– Moisturizes lips, makes it soft
– Does not darken the lips
– Contains Tocopheryl Acetate- a form of vitamin E, which is a skin conditioning agent and antioxidant
– Contains Beeswax
– Result stays longer, lips stays soft even after two days

Cons
– Takes time to show result- Allow at least a week for lips to feel hydrated
– Expensive- Rs 329 for 15 ml
– Petroleum base, has paraben
– dip finger and apply= messy
– Availability ( can buy only through consultants)
My Experience
I have super dry lips, but the lip balm helped to make it soft, and hydrated. Though petroleum-based, it did not make my lips dark. I have not used it on face yet, but as a lip balm this has worked very well for me, although it takes around a week to show actual result. If your lips are too dry, Initially you will have to re-apply every 30-45 mins.
Tips- Always apply on damp/moist lips- It helps to lock the moisture making skin softer.
